Setup & Connection
4 answersHow do I turn MemoOrb on and off?
Press the power button to turn MemoOrb on. To turn it off, press and hold the power button until the lights and motor stop. If it does not respond normally, charge it first and try again.
How do I connect MemoOrb to the app?
Install the Flyokay App, allow Bluetooth and nearby-device permissions, turn on Bluetooth, and power on MemoOrb. Open the device page in the app, scan for nearby devices, select your MemoOrb, and wait until the app shows it as connected.
Why can’t the app find my MemoOrb?
Make sure MemoOrb is powered on, Bluetooth is enabled, the required app permissions are allowed, and the ball is close to your phone. Also check that it is not connected to another phone. Restart the app and MemoOrb, then scan again.
Can I control MemoOrb from the app?
The app is used to connect the device, create or upload content, preview designs, adjust display settings, and send content to MemoOrb. Flying direction and tabletop movement are controlled through how you launch, tilt, or position the ball rather than by remote steering in the app.
App & Connection
4 answersWhy can’t the app find my device?
Check that Bluetooth and nearby-device permissions are enabled for the Flyokay App. Keep MemoOrb powered on and close to the phone, close any other phone that may already be connected, and scan again from the app’s device page.
Do I need internet to use the app?
Internet access is needed to download or update the app and may be needed for online resources. Once the app and your content are available, the phone connects to MemoOrb through Bluetooth, so continuous internet access is not normally required for pairing or transferring content.
Can I use MemoOrb with multiple phones?
You can use more than one compatible phone, but MemoOrb should be connected to only one phone at a time. Disconnect it from the current phone before pairing or reconnecting it with another phone.
How do I reconnect the device?
Turn on MemoOrb and your phone’s Bluetooth, open the Flyokay App, and select MemoOrb from the nearby-device list. If it does not reconnect, close and reopen the app, restart MemoOrb, and scan again.
Messages & Images
4 answersWhat content can I display?
You can create and send text, names, wishes, photos, graphics, icons, and compatible animated content such as GIFs. The LED image becomes visible while MemoOrb is spinning or flying.
Can I upload photos?
Yes. Allow photo-library access, choose an image in the Flyokay App, crop or adjust it for the preview, and send it to an available slot on MemoOrb.
Can I add text?
Yes. Enter a name, message, wish, or short phrase in the app, then choose the available font, color, and display effect before previewing and sending it to MemoOrb.
Can MemoOrb display GIFs?
Yes, compatible GIF-style animations can be transferred through the app. Keep the app open, keep MemoOrb nearby and connected, choose the correct animation slot, and wait for the transfer-success message before closing the app.
Playing & Tricks
4 answersWhat is Flying Ball Mode?
Flying Ball Mode is the airborne mode. Hold MemoOrb with the flying side facing up, start it, and use a controlled launch to practise Palm Hover, Boomerang Flight, Obstacle Flight, or Forward Flight in a clear area.
What is Electric Spinner Mode?
Electric Spinner Mode is the tabletop mode. Flip MemoOrb upside down, place it on a flat, dry surface, and let it rotate while the custom LED content appears in motion.
How do I make MemoOrb come back?
Use the Boomerang Flight technique: launch it upward and away from you at a slight angle with moderate force. The return path depends on the angle, force, and surrounding airflow, so practise in a clear open space and make small adjustments.
Can MemoOrb be used outdoors?
Yes, but only in a clear open area with calm or light wind. Keep it away from crowds, roads, water, glass, power lines, airports, trees, and fragile objects. Do not use it in rain, fog, or strong wind.
Charging
4 answersHow long does MemoOrb take to charge?
A full charge normally takes about 20–25 minutes. Charge it on a stable, dry surface and disconnect the cable after the charging indicator shows that charging is complete.
How long does the battery last?
Typical play time is about 7–10 minutes per full charge. Actual time can vary with the selected mode, LED content, movement, and battery condition.
What do the red and green charging lights mean?
A red light indicates that MemoOrb is charging. A green light indicates that charging is complete. If the light behaves abnormally, check the cable and certified USB power source before contacting support.
What charger should I use?
Use the supplied Type-C cable with a certified DC 5V USB power source rated around 0.5–0.8A. Do not use a damaged cable, wet connector, or an unsuitable high-voltage power source.
Safety & Care
4 answersWhat age is MemoOrb suitable for?
MemoOrb is recommended for users aged 6 and above. Younger or inexperienced users should learn the basic controls gradually in a clear play area.
Does a child need adult supervision?
Yes. Adult supervision is recommended for children. Keep MemoOrb away from the face, eyes, hair, pets, small children, and other people while it is spinning or flying.
Where should MemoOrb be used?
Use it in a spacious, uncluttered, dry area with enough clearance above and around the user. A large indoor room or a calm open outdoor space is suitable when people, water, glass, roads, power lines, and fragile objects are kept clear.
Is MemoOrb waterproof?
No. MemoOrb is not waterproof. Do not use it in rain, place it in water, rinse it, or clean it with a wet cloth. Power it off and use a soft dry cloth for cleaning.
